963be1423f kernel: add missing config symbols
Kconfig symbols CONFIG_ARM64_CNP and CONFIG_ARM64_EPAN got exposed
by enabling CONFIG_ARM64_PAN. Enable them as well, as just like for
PAN, also EPAN and CNP will be detected at runtime at no cost.

a2662309aa kernel: Enable CONFIG_ARM64_PAN to restrict kernel access to user space memory
Enable the CONFIG_ARM64_PAN kernel security option, which leverages the
ARMv8.1 Privileged Access Never (PAN) extension to prevent the kernel
from directly accessing user space memory.

Instead, copy_to_user and similar functions must be used for data
transfer between kernel and user space. This feature is automatically
disabled at runtime on CPUs without PAN support, making it a no-op in
those cases.

2ae5bea856 Revert "bcm27xx: align and enable hwmon/thermal symbols"
This reverts commit f98f95359b.

It seems that this commit is causing issues with the PWM fan on the RPi 5 as
reported here: https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/16191

So let's revert this for now.

c2d194a34e kernel: enable (ARM|ARM64)_MODULE_PLTS in generic config
This allows loading modules with large memory requirements, recently needed
while testing on armvirt/32. Past forum discussions [1] and bug reports [2]
also raised this and the ipq806x target already set it in response [3].
Given this increases kernel image size by only ~1KB, is generally useful on
multi-platform kernels, and enabled by default on upstream arm32 Linux, add
it to the generic config.

The setting has similar utility on arm64, is a requirement for KASLR, and
already enabled on most OpenWrt aarch64 targets, so pull this into the
top-level generic config.

kernel: disable CONFIG_CPU_LITTLE_ENDIAN in generic config
Endianness depends on CPU architecture. CONFIG_CPU_(BIG/LITTLE)_ENDIAN should
be enabled on target or subtarget based on SoC architecture.

Fixes warning:
$ make kernel_oldconfig CONFIG_TARGET=subtarget
...
.config:1008:warning: override: CPU_LITTLE_ENDIAN changes choice state
....

Summary:
- ARC - only the CONFIG_CPU_BIG_ENDIAN symbol is defined for this architeture.
If it is disabled then the processor operates in LITTLE_ENDIAN mode (default),
- ARM32 - CONFIG_CPU_LITTLE_ENDIAN symbol available since kernel 5.19. This
option should be enabled after OpenWRT moves to kernel 6.x. After refreshing
  the kernel, the symbol disappears,
- ARM64 - enabled CONFIG_CPU_LITTLE_ENDIAN,
- MIPS - enabled relevant symbols,
- POWERPC - enabled CONFIG_CPU_BIG_ENDIAN,
- UML - Symbols are not defined for this architecture,
- X86 - always little endian. Symbols are not defined for this architecture.

a68dd8057c bcm27xx: bcm2711: update defconfig
Ran `make kernel_menuconfig CONFIG_TARGET=bcm2711` having used the snapshot
config for bcm2711[1]. Manually added back two symbols that the make target
removed, namely:
* # CONFIG_SND_SOC_AD193X_I2C is not set
* # CONFIG_SND_SOC_AD193X_SPI is not set

Without adding these back, the build fails due to unsatisfied deps[2].

6f787b62d0 bcm27xx: add SND_SOC_AD193X_{I2C,SPI} symbols
When building an image for the bcm27xx target, some combinations of
config options will fail to build due the SND_SOC_AD193X_I2C and
SND_SOC_AD193X_SPI kernel config symbols being missing.

The problem only occurs on bcm27xx as the target contains a patch that
modifies the Kconfig file containing the symbols; in the vanilla kernel,
there is no string after the tristate keyword so the symbol is not
exposed.

The _I2C symbol depends on I2C, which is enabled in the kernel configs
of all bcm27xx subtargets.

The _SPI symbol depends on SPI_MASTER, which is exposed by either
kmod-mmc-spi, kmod-spi-bitbang, kmod-spi-dev, kmod-spi-bcm2835 or
kmod-spi-bcm2835-aux.

Both symbols are defined in the sound/soc/codecs directory, which is
only included when SND_SOC is enabled, so this problem doesn't occur
when kmod-sound-soc-core is not enabled. As the
kmod-sound-soc-bcm2835-i2s package disables the SND_SOC_AD193X_SPI
symbol, it also doesn't occur when kmod-sound-soc-bcm2835-i2s is
enabled.

As there are several possible config combinations that do exhibit this
problem, it is best to solve it by adding the missing symbols to the
subtarget kernel configs. By doing this we can remove them from the
kmod-sound-soc-bcm2835-i2s package.
