The TL-WR841N/ND v10 is mostly identical to the v9. Apart from some minor changes, it contains a newer revision of the QCA9533 SoC and the CPU clock is significantly higher. Flash instruction (WebUI): Download *-factory.bin image and upload it via the firmwary upgrade function of the stock firmware WebUI. Flash instruction (TFTP): 1. Set PC to fixed ip address 192.168.0.66 2. Download *-factory.bin image and rename it to wr841nv10_tp_recovery.bin 3. Start a tftp server with the image file in its root directory 4. Turn off the router 5. Press and hold Reset button 6. Turn on router with the reset button pressed and wait ~15 seconds 7. Release the reset button and after a short time the firmware should be transferred from the tftp server 8. Wait ~30 second to complete recovery. To build your own firmware you need a Linux, BSD or MacOSX system (case sensitive filesystem required). Cygwin is unsupported because of the lack of a case sensitive file system. You need gcc, binutils, bzip2, flex, python, perl, make, find, grep, diff, unzip, gawk, getopt, subversion, libz-dev and libc headers installed. 1. Run "./scripts/feeds update -a" to obtain all the latest package definitions defined in feeds.conf / feeds.conf.default 2. Run "./scripts/feeds install -a" to install symlinks for all obtained packages into package/feeds/ 3. Run "make menuconfig" to select your preferred configuration for the toolchain, target system & firmware packages. 4. Run "make" to build your firmware. This will download all sources, build the cross-compile toolchain and then cross-compile the Linux kernel & all chosen applications for your target system. Sunshine!
