This LED controller has a driver under development which is currently being reviewed by the respective kernel maintainers. They are currently on v11 which is included here. The LED1202 is a 12-channel low quiescent current LED driver with: * Supply range from 2.6 V to 5 V * 20 mA current capability per channel * 1.8 V compatible I2C control interface * 8-bit analog dimming individual control * 12-bit local PWM resolution * 8 programmable patterns If the led node is present in the controller then the channel is set to active. The output current can be adjusted separately for each channel by 8-bit analog (current sink input) and 12-bit digital (PWM) dimming control. The LED1202 implements 12 low-side current generators with independent dimming control. Internal volatile memory allows the user to store up to 8 different patterns, each pattern is a particular output configuration in terms of PWM duty-cycle (on 4096 steps). Analog dimming (on 256 steps) is per channel but common to all patterns. Each device tree LED node will have a corresponding entry in /sys/class/leds with the label name. The brightness property corresponds to the per channel analog dimming, while the patterns[1-8] to the PWM dimming control. OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developers, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned.

Development
To build your own firmware you need a GNU/Linux, BSD or macOS system (case sensitive filesystem required). Cygwin is unsupported because of the lack of a case sensitive file system.
Requirements
You need the following tools to compile OpenWrt, the package names vary between distributions. A complete list with distribution specific packages is found in the Build System Setup documentation.

Quickstart

Run
./scripts/feeds update -a
to obtain all the latest package definitions defined in feeds.conf / feeds.conf.default -
Run
./scripts/feeds install -a
to install symlinks for all obtained packages into package/feeds/ -
Run
make menuconfig
to select your preferred configuration for the toolchain, target system & firmware packages. -
Run
make
to build your firmware. This will download all sources, build the cross-compile toolchain and then cross-compile the GNU/Linux kernel & all chosen applications for your target system.
