Manually adapted:
target/linux/generic/hack-5.4/220-gc_sections.patch

Compile-tested: lantiq/xrx200, armvirt/64
Run-tested: lantiq/xrx200, armvirt/64

QE was supported on PowerPC, and dependent on PPC,
