797e5c1c48 packages: set more explicit ABI_VERSION values
In the case of upstream libraries, set the ABI_VERSION variable to the
soname value of the first version version after the last backwards
incompatible change.

For custom OpenWrt libraries, set the ABI_VERSION to the date of the
last Git commit doing backwards incompatible changes to the source,
such as changing function singatures or dropping exported symbols.

The soname values have been determined by either checking
https://abi-laboratory.pro/index.php?view=tracker or - in the case
of OpenWrt libraries - by carefully reviewing the changes made to
header files thorough the corresponding Git history.

In the future, the ABI_VERSION values must be bumped whenever the
library is updated to an incpompatible version but not with every
package update, in order to reduce the dependency churn in the
binary package repository.

5c4277ec37 fstools: update to the latest master branch
This is a big block(d) cleanup with new feature of generating "mount"
hotplug.d events.

It's an important update for those who were using mountd in the
pre-18.06 releases. Due to the mountd being replaced with blockd a
support for "mountd" hotplug.d events has been lost. It broke all kind
of shell scripts that were e.g. managing services depending on an
external USB drive availability.

This basically (re-)adds support for calling /etc/hotplug.d/mount/
scripts with ACTION ("add" or "remove") and DEVICE set.

af93f4b block(d): improve hotplug.d "mount" events for the autofs
3bb3352 blockd: unmount device explicitly when it disappears
28753b3 block: remove target directory after unmounting
c8c7ca5 block: cleanup handling "start" action of the "autofs" command

d3bf5ff9bc opkg: drop argument from check_signature in opkg.conf
check_signature is a bool option and doesn't take any arguments. The
presence of the 1 falsely suggests setting it to 0 disables the check,
while the option actually needs to be removed or commented out to be
disabled. So remove the argument to make it more clear.

82498a7f7a mtd: improve check for TRX header being already fixed
First of all lengths should be compared after checking all blocks for
being good/bad. It's because requested length may differ from a final
one if there were some bad blocks.

Secondly it makes sense to also compare crc32 since we already have a
new one calculated.

0f54489f75 mtd: support bad blocks within the mtd_fixtrx()
Reading MTD data with (p)read doesn't return any error when accessing
bad block. As the result, with current code, CRC32 covers "data" stored
in bad blocks.

That behavior doesn't match CFE's one (bootloader simply skips bad
blocks) and may result in:
1) Invalid CRC32
2) CFE refusing to boot firmware with a following error:
Boot program checksum is invalid

Fix that problem by checking every block before reading its content.

Default trigger action timeout was added to procd.sh in commit f88e3a4c0

A given signal-name is now converted to the corresonding number. In general
it's good style to use names (readability) and it's more portable: signal

e1d1c31890 opkg: vfork external gzip command to uncompress data
Opkg's builtin decompression code is unsuitable to process nested archives as
it uses a single shared state and relies on undefined seek behaviour for pipes.

Rework the extraction logic to use the external gzip command as I/O filter for
decompressing data and remove the builtin inflate code entirely.

This shrinks the final opkg binary by about 4KB and results in less runtime
memory consumption due to efficient use of vfork() and less copy-on-write
operations in the forked child.

Rework by Felix: create a thread that relays data to the gzip process
instead of using a fragile poll loop

Opkg's builtin decompression code is unsuitable to process nested archives as
it uses a single shared state and relies on undefined seek behaviour for pipes.

Rework the extraction logic to use the external gzip command as I/O filter for
decompressing data and remove the builtin inflate code entirely.

This shrinks the final opkg binary by about 4KB and results in less runtime
memory consumption due to efficient use of vfork() and less copy-on-write
operations in the forked child.

Rework by Felix: create a thread that relays data to the gzip process
instead of using a fragile poll loop

Update procd to latest HEAD in order to introduce support for services signals:

- Adds a new service.signal ubus call to send a kill() signal to one or all

- Adds a new "reload_signal" property which allows service init scripts to
request procd to send a specific kill() signal on reload, instead of

Also fixes some potential memory leaks reported by cppcheck and an environment

929641fa1f fwtool: add utility for appending and extracting firmware metadata/signatures
This will be used to append extra information to images which allows the
system to verify if an image is compatible with the system.

The extra data is appended to the end of the image, where it will be
ignored when upgrading from systems that do not process this data yet:

If the image is a squashfs or jffs2 image, the extra data will land
after the end-of-filesystem marker, where it will be overwritten once
the system boots for the first timee.

If the image is a sysupgrade tar file, tar will simply ignore the extra
data when unpacking.

The layout of the metadata/signature chunks is constructed in a way
that the last part contains just a magic and size information, so that
the tool can quickly check if any valid data is present without having
to do a pattern search throughout the full image.

Chunks also contain CRC32 information to detect file corruption, even
when the image is not signed.

Small cleanup. I initially though /dev/kmsg was used for dmsg(and journald

df8ca9a5c4 mtd: add -c option for specifying amount of data to be used for checksum
So far fixtrx was calculating checksum over amount of data matching
partition erase size. It was mostly a workaround of checksum problem
after changing anything in initial TRX content (e.g. formatting JFFS2).
Its main purpose was to make bootloader accept modified TRX. This didn't
provide much protection of flash data against corruption.

This new option lets caller request calculating checksum over a bigger
amount of data. It may be used e.g. to include whole kernel data for
checksum and hopefully make bootloader go info failsafe mode if
something goes wrong.

something about 8 MiB is enough.

4a4c324cd2 mtd: fix reading of image magic bytes in smaller chunks
The image_check currently fails when it cannot read all magic bytes in a
single chunk. But this can happen when the data are read from a pipe. This
currently breaks the openmesh.sh upgrade script with musl because it uses
dd with a blocksize of 1 to copy the image file to the mtd process.

The read can simply be repeated until enough bytes are read for the magic
byte check. It only stops when either an error was returned or 0 bytes were
read.
